Public notice is hereby given to the electors of the Rural Municipality of York that a Municipal Election will be held on November 2, 2026 to elect the 1 Mayor and 6 Councillors for the Rural Municipality of York for the term of office terminating on the 6th day of December 2030.

The nomination period for the council positions noted above opens on October 7, 2026 and closes at 2:00 pm on Nomination Day, Friday, October 16, 2026.

Nominations can be received via email or at the election office 669 Route 25 York by the Municipal Electoral Officer (MEO) or Returning Officer at the following times:

• Friday, October 16, 2026 from 9 am to 2 pm

Candidates are responsible for confirming their eligibility to be nominated prior to submitting their nomination form.

The deadline for correcting elector information shall be no later than 11:59 am on October 20 at 11:59 am.
